The Malone antegrade continence enema adapting a transanal irrigation system in patients with neurogenic bowel dysfunction

Abstract: Introduction Patients with severe neurogenic bowel dysfunction (NBD) may undergo the Malone antegrade continence enema (MACE) surgery to perform antegrade bowel irrigation (ABI).
