The Lung Allocation Score Goes Global

Abstract: Gottlieb et al (page 1318) find encouraging results from Germany's use of a lung allocation score and nationwide allocation of lungs, that perhaps will prompt the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network to diminish the roles of geography and waiting time in US organ allocation.
