We describe the first Chinese Caloneurodea, Sinaspidoneura magnifica nov. gen., nov. sp. from the middle Permian Yinping Formation, in the small family Aspidoneuridae, previously known from two genera and species, one from the latest Carboniferous of France and another from the late early Permian of North America. This discovery shows that this order was more widespread during the Middle Permian than previously supposed, under a great variety of palaeoclimates. This clade is still unknown in the Late Permian, and possibly became extinct because of the crisis of biodiversity that happened at the end of the Middle Permian.

In order to determine of the Neuroptera (Insecta) fauna that lives around the Hazar Lake in Elazığ province, the field studies are conducted in 108 prespecified locations in April-September of 2016-2019. In this paper, 5 families, 18 genera and 23 species are identified from collected 296 specimens. The distribution of these species are; Ascalaphidae family, 1 genus -2 species; Chrysopidae family, 4 genera -5 species; Hemerobiidae family, 2 genera -2 species; Myrmeleontidae family, 9 genera -11 species, and Nemopteridae family, 2 genera -3 species. Nobloedischia rasnitsyni gen. et sp. n. (Oedischiidae) is described from the Lower Permian Wellington Formation of Noble County, Oklahoma. The genus is similar to both Petrelcana (Oedischiidae: Mezenoedischiinae) and Oedischia (Oedischiidae: Oedischiinae) and is left unplaced at the subfamily level. The new species is the twelfth Orthoptera species and the fourth species of Oedischiidae from these deposits.
