The low-frequency alternative-current magnetic susceptibility and electrical properties of Si(100)/Fe40Pd40B20(X Å)/ZnO(500 Å) and Si(100)/ZnO(500 Å)/Fe40Pd40B20(Y Å) systems

Abstract: The two deposition conditions are (a) Si(100)/Fe40Pd40B20(X Å)/ZnO (500 Å) and (b) Si(100)/ZnO(500 Å)/Fe40Pd40B20(Y Å), where X and Y are 25 Å, 50 Å, 75 Å, and 100 Å. The sputtering sequence and the thickness of the FePdB film were varied to examine their effects on the low-frequency alternative-current magnetic susceptibility (χac), maximum phase angle (θmax), maximum χac with corresponding optimal resonance frequency (fres), and electrical resistivity (ρ). Experimental results show that ZnO(500 Å)/Fe40Pd40B2… Show more

“…The optimal resonance frequency of CoFeVB films is shown in Figure 5. According to the f res value, the maximum χ ac value is measured with the strongest spin sensitivity at this frequency [38,39]. The f res presented an oscillating trend with a minimum critical frequency of 50 Hz.…”

“…Table 2 lists the optimal resonance frequency (f res ) of CoFeBY films under four conditions. The maximum χ ac has the highest spin sensitivity with the optimal resonance frequency [ 36 , 37 ]. The f res value of CoFeBY at various thicknesses is less than 250 Hz.…”

“…The optimal resonance frequency (f res ) of CoFeW film is shown in Figure 7. At this frequency, the maximum χ ac is measured with the strongest spin sensitivity [36,37]. The f res shows a downward concave trend with a maximum critical frequency of 1000 Hz.…”
