The link between ocular infection with non-chlamydial bacteria and trachomatous eye changes

Abstract: Introduction Globally, C. trachomatis is the leading infectious cause of blindness. There is evidence to suggest that trachomatous inflammation may be linked to ocular infection with other pathogenic organisms.
