The Language of Compassion: A Few Lessons from Michigan Lawyers on How to Communicate Compassionately with Personal Injury Clients

Abstract: Though judges and lawyers encourage claimants to settle disputes out of courts, lawyers may struggle managing out-of-court dispute resolution processes. Some of the dispute management struggles are related to emotions of clients.
