“…More scope for tinkering is generated; there is a greater readiness for either making the strange familiar (breaking out of the mold) or making the familiar strange (finding your soul). Thus, Innisfree Island, in Ireland, is marketed as one such "refuge for the soul" (Royle 2001,12), with the Sligo Tourist Board seeking to capitalize on the text of "The Lake Isle of Innisfree," by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats ([1893Yeats ([ ] 2005. The authors’ names are perhaps culturally significant: “Inishfree” is an Irish island and an echo of Yeats's “The Lake Isle of Innisfree” (1888); Psyche was a Greek muse and Cupid's wife; and Enithermon may refer to Enitharmon, William Blake's muse and beauty. This author also posted four poems, two erotic and two listed as “non‐erotic.” These aspirational pseudonyms and practices represent attempts to generate cultural capital in competition with other authors on the site and perhaps consciousness of pornography's low cultural status.…”

“…In severe genodermatoses, DNA-based prenatal diagnosis became a clinical-service reality and, in selected cases, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis was developed. Gene correction or replacement therapy has, for many predictable and several less-predictable reasons, taken longer than initially envisioned and, like Yeats' peace, continues to 'come dropping slow' (Yeats, 1892).…”
