Abstract:Failure of root canal treatment (RCT) occurs when endodontic treatment falls short of standard clinical guidelines. An improper mechanical debridement (shaping and cleaning), persistence of bacteria inside the canals and apex, poor obturation quality, coronal leakage, and experience of dentists all probably influence the RCT success or failure.
