The iron chelator deferriferrichrysin induces paraptosis via extracellular signal‐related kinase activation in cancer cells

Abstract: Cancer cells generally exhibit increased iron uptake, which contributes to their abnormal growth and metastatic ability. Iron chelators have thus recently attracted attention as potential anticancer agents.
