The Intracellular Cholesterol Landscape: Dynamic Integrator of the Immune Response

Abstract: Cholesterol has typically been considered an exogenous, disease-related factor in immunity; however, recent literature suggests that a paradigm shift is in order. Sterols are now recognized to ligate several immune receptors.
