The influence of traditional culture on library administration among the Igbo of Eastern Nigeria

Abstract: Discusses management style as portrayed in Western literature. Compares this with the approach to management taken by the Igbo of Eastern Nigeria. Describes the Igbo belief system, magic and language and the implications of this culture on library management. Refers to the impact of cultural revitalisation librarianship of the 1970s.
