Abstract:This study examines Shelley's idealism with respect to his concept of love and the role of nature played in his love poems. The study describes Shelley's believe in the force of love to transform the world into a better place where freedom and justice prevails. The ideal imaginary world of Shelley's mind shows how love dominates, while contempt achieves devastation.
