Abstract:Major climatic-environmental transitions and ecological shifts occurred during the mid-Early Pleistocene, a time when external forcing conditions were relatively stable. To help elucidate their driving mechanisms, we perform linear-nonlinear analysis on global climate and oceanographic records.
