The Influence of Smoking on the Variations in Carboxyhemoglobin and Methemoglobin During Urologic Surgery

Abstract: Introduction:Surgery is supposed to modulate the production of carbon monoxide by the reduction of heme oxygenase activity or transcriptional regulation of inducible heme oxygenase.
