The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of gross profit margin, net profit margin, company size and sales growth on profit growth (in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022). The research was produced using secondary data and a purposive sampling method, namely the researcher carried out the best assessment to fulfill what had been determined, using a quantitative assessment approach, the total sample was 11 companies. The data was analyzed using multiple linear analysis techniques via the SPSS 23 application. The research results stated that GPM, NPM, company size and sales growth simultaneously and significantly influenced profit growth (in manufacturing companies listed on the BEI in 2019-2022). Gross Profit Margin, Net Profit Margin, Sales Growth have a partial and significant influence on Profit Growth (in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022). Company size has no influence and is not partially significant on Profit Growth (in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2022 period).

Background: Sales growth is one of the key factors for achieving a target high profitability rate. Sales growth provides more comprehensive use of companies' capacities, thereby allocating fixed costs to higher value of revenue resulting in higher profitability rate. Purpose: The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of sales growth on manufacturing companies' profitability in the Republic of Serbia during 2018-2021. Study design/methodology/approach: The profitability as a dependent variable was measured as return on assets, while the size of the company, current ratio, leverage, sales growth, and inventory ratio were set as independent variables. The research was based on a sample of 200 observations of large and medium size manufacturing companies and panel regression models were used. Findings: The results indicate that there is a positive and significant impact of inventory ratio and sales growth on the return on assets. The profitability of manufacturing enterprises increases with the increase in sales. The results of this paper are expected to be used by the management of manufacturing companies to be more careful to achieve stable business and development. Limitations/future research: Recommendations, limitations, and future research are given in the conclusions.

This study aims to determine the effect of sales growth and the inflation rate on changes in profits in consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The population in this study totalled 26 companies using the purposive sampling method for the 2017-2021 period. A sample of 11 consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange was obtained based on predetermined criteria. The analytical method used is panel data analysis using E-views 12 Software Assistance. The results show that partial sales growth significantly affects profit changes, and the inflation rate has no significant negative effect on profit changes in consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in the period 2017-2021. In addition to expanding the research variables, further research can consider the sector to be selected as the object of study.
