Abstract:The influence of the pH of the medium on the actuator properties of a polyaniline film deposited on an electroconductive substrate is studied. The maximum amplitude of the actuator displacement is observed at pH 0-2.5. This is the effect of hysteresis, which consists in the fact that the mechanical displace ment of the actuator during the anodic polarization of the substrate occurs quickly, while, during the cathodic polarization, it is slower. On the basis of the performed investigations, a design for an elec… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
