Although donor funding has helped to boost the education sector, questions have arisen regarding the sustainability of donor-funded schools. The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of management skills on the sustainability of donor-funded schools in Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu County, Kenya. Resource Dependency Theory and Agency Theory guided the study. The study employed the descriptive survey design and targeted the population of 122 stakeholders of the White Cottage Schools and the Bridge International Academies comprising 100 parents, 2 managers, and 20 teachers. The systematic sampling method was used to select a sample of 50 parents and 10 teachers while both managers were included in the study sample making a sample size of 62 respondents. Quantitative data were collected from parents using questionnaires, while qualitative data was obtained from the teachers and managers using interview guides. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the chi-square test, while qualitative data were analyzed using the thematic content analysis technique. Results showed that more than half of the parents believe that their children’s schools would not operate optimally without donor funds. Results further showed that the sustainability of donor-funded primary schools was significantly associated with managerial skills, including creativity, flexibility, and networking. The study concluded that managerial skills are a significant determinant of donor-funded schools' sustainability. The study recommends that school managers improve their creativity, flexibility, and networking skills.

The low HDI in Pandalungan is a government-focused development priority, especially in the healthcare sector. The attempts to break the COVID-19 chain must be made to improve the quality of government services in the region. In optimizing the activities, the sub-district leaders play a significant role. There is an appeal to the sub-district leaders to enforce social distance since there is no face-to-face meeting with the appliance assigned. The Camat (a sub-district head) needs to adjust to this situation, so the Camat uses new media to perform his tasks. The COVID-19 pandemic affects several aspects of life, including the style of leadership. Digital leadership has become a model of leadership that is successful during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current study, based on those evaluations, is aimed at assessing the impact of digital leadership on the performance of public services by the sub-district chief Pandalungan. To meet the goal of the study, a qualitative approach is applied. It can be concluded that transformational leadership is oriented towards the organization’s vision and goals, which are outlined in action.

This study aims to describe the managerial creativity of school principals in improving the quality of learning at the Buddhist Foundation. The leadership of the principal greatly determines the progress of a school. The research used is descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative research methods are research methods to explore and understand the meaning that according to some individuals or groups of people comes from social or human problems. The results showed that maturity in mastering the theories and concepts of management and leadership requires integrated and continuous training and training. The content of the learning curriculum requires weighting on the theory and implementation of organizational management and leadership. That the success of education through the application of management in schools requires principals who have high managerial and professional integrity and democratic abilities in the decision-making process, especially regarding the managerial creativity of school principals.
