One of the objectives of this research is to develop and validate the Instructional Material Motivation Scale for Single-Use (IMMS-SU) instrument in the Turkish context. The IMMS-SU was developed and validated in a two-phased process on a sample of 1654 students. The Exploratory Factor Analysis revealed that IMMS-SU included 14 items (χ2 = 332.59; sd = 74; p < 0.001), the fitness indices were found to be RMSEA = .077; SRMR = .040; AGFI = .88; NFI = .95; CFI = .96; and GFI = .92. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficients regarding the whole scale was calculated as α = 0.95. Thereafter, in the second study, the animated and interactive video materials used in distance education were scrutinized in the context of openness to different materials, time spent viewing, motivation, and cognitive load. This research is based on the learning outcomes in economics subjects which are still low and the desire to identify trends in students' visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles in economics subjects. With this identification, it is hoped that the teacher will find an effective way as a learning strategy in presenting learning and students will find the most suitable learning method for themselves in receiving learning information. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was carried out using a visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style questionnaire. Descriptive statistics are used to analyze the data then look for trends in each student's learning style and calculate the percentage of students as a whole. The research results are as follows. First, the tendency for visual student learning styles is 45% at high levels, 40% medium, and 15% low. The tendency of auditory student learning styles is 21% at high levels, 70% moderate, and 9% low. The tendency of kinesthetic student learning styles is 4% at high levels, 66% moderate, and 30% low. Second, social studies class XI students at Rokan Hulu District Public High School have a visual learning style tendency of 33%, 38% auditory, and 29% kinesthetic students. Third, the average score for students with a visual learning style is 72.4 and the average score for students with an auditory learning style is 77.8 and the average score for students with a kinesthetic learning style is 69.5. Students with an auditory learning style have an average learning result that is better than those with visual and kinesthetic learning styles.

A growing body of research advocates the positive benefits of using co-creation projects to add value to existing services and practices and to enhance professional development. We present a practical guide to adopting the democratic principles of co-creation and structuring a project effectively. From identifying the initial focus, we provide advice concerning how to create a Mission Statement, identify objectives, and develop a cohesive learning community. We also outline how using measurable outcomes and an agreed timescale, it is possible to co-create activities that are both democratic and inclusive. Whilst co-creation can take place in face-to-face or virtual settings, we suggest ways that engaging with technology will enhance the creative elements, and how reflective practice underpins the career developments taking place. Finally, we explore the value associated with evaluating the project, and identifying avenues for the dissemination of its achievements.
