Abstract: Background: Hydrolysis of 2-amino phenylpropionitrile by nitrilase is a fundamental biochemical reaction that produces chiral phenylalanine. For practical application of this biochemical reaction, researchers have attempted to improve enzyme enantioselectivity and the reaction rate.
