“…Ge et al [ 25 ] found that when exposed to a high temperature of 40 °C, the mortality rate of Nilaparvata lugens treated with triazophos (tzp) decreased significantly (from 94% to 50%), and the long-term extension of LT 50 was 17.2 h. There is a positive correlation between the resistance of Laodelphax striatellus to buprofezin and its heat resistance [ 26 ]. The study in our laboratory found that there were significant differences in fertility, longevity, and enzyme activity between pyridaben-susceptible and -resistant strains of T. truncatus under high temperature stress, while the pyridaben-resistant strain showed the advantage of adaptability to high temperature [ 27 , 28 ]. We inferred that exposure to pesticide stressors can also induce pests to develop heat tolerance, but the molecular mechanism involved is still unclear.…”
