The Influence of Hemispheric Solar Activity Features on the Interplanetary Plasma Parameters throughout 1967 ̶ 2017

Abstract: In this article, we have examined the possible influence of hemispheric solar activity features on the interplanetary plasma parameters. For this purpose, the daily data of sunspot areas (SSAs) and sunspot numbers (SSNs) as well as the interplanetary plasma parameters (interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) magnitude B, plasma density n, plasma velocity V, plasma temperature T, and plasma dynamic pressure P . The daily data of each interplanetary plasma parameter has been classified into two groups, northern (N) … Show more

“…The kinetic parameters describe the theoretical behavior of the experimental characterization established on three major basic factors. The activation energy (E), geometric factor μ g , and the frequency factor (S) of the trapped electron were calculated based on Equations ( 12), (13), and ( 14), respectively [51]. In this study, the peak shape model was chosen to determine the TL glow curve parameters for the proposed dosimeters.…”

“…These features make them more suitable for various sectors, such as quality control in industry, environmental dosimeters, and personal monitoring. In the latter case, they find extensive utilization in monitoring doses received via radiation workers on a routine basis, such as monthly [7,13]. However, the past studies reported a few limitations of commercial TLDs [14,15].…”
