The Influence of Heat Treatment on Soft Magnetic Properties of the Fe60Co10Mo2Y8B20Alloy

Abstract: This paper presents the results of studies on the magnetic properties of the Fe60Co10Mo2Y8B20 alloy. The samples were fabricated in the form of plates by the injection-casting method. The structure of the investigated alloy, in the as-quenched state and after annealing, was veried by using X-ray diractometry. The magnetization curves as a function of temperature were measured by a force magnetometer. From thermomagnetic curves the Curie temperature of the alloy was determined. As a critical parameter β was cho… Show more

“…Measurements were carried out using a magnetic field frequency range of 50-1000 Hz. The recorded diffractograms are typical of those normally obtained for amorphous materials [20]. In each case, only a single broad maximum is visible -in the 2Θ angle range of 40-50 • .…”

“…(12) and shown in Figure 2. (12) Amorphous alloys due to their unique magnetic properties can be used as transformer cores [30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37]. However, the structure demonstrating the lack of longrange ordering exhibits interesting properties as a component for composite phononic structures [29].…”

“…The study investigated the transmission (Fig. 2) of a quasi-periodic octagonal superlattice with a structure of layers determined by the concatenation rule (11). There can be noticed the presence of two band gaps with a large frequency range.…”

“…Amorphous alloys are a widely studied group of materials in terms of their unique magnetic properties [9][10][11][12][13] as well as the magnetocaloric phenomena occurring in them [14][15][16]. In this work amorphous Zr 55 Cu 30 Ni 5 Al 10 was used to build a quasi one-dimensional mechanical wave filter.…”
