The influence of asymmetric pole shoe on synchronous hydro generator

Abstract: In order to reduce the saturation degree of magnetic flux density at the pole shoe on the right side of the pole in a generator and reduce the pole‐to‐pole leakage, an asymmetric pole shoe structure is proposed in this paper.
