The influence of “api-api” (Avicennia marina) leaves extract on the quality of fresh mackerel scad (Decapterus russelli) during storage

Abstract: “Api-api” trees (Avicennia marina) is known as mangrove that classified as family Avicenniaceae. Based on the previous study, ‘“api-api”’ (Avicennia marine) leaves obtained bioactive molecules which is function as anti-parasite, anti-fungi, anti-oxidant, and antibacterial, due to its steroid, terpenoid, saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid and tannin compounds.
