“…The greater the drop, the more intense was the trauma in Noble-Collip drum (NCD) and the higher was the level of lactic acid in the plasma. The decrease of glycolytic activity of erythrocytes in shock was caused by a marked increase in the lactic acid concentration but not by the lactate ion but by the hydrogen ion as has been shown (13).
