ÖZETBu araştırmanın amacı çeşitli doğa sporlarına katılan bireylerin psikolojik performans durumlarının ortaya konmasıdır. Türkiye'de doğa sporları yapan kişiler üzerine az sayıda psikolojik araştırma yapılmış olması bu araştırmayı önemli yapmaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2015-2016 yılında Türkiye'de doğa sporları yapan bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemi ise Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara ve Antalya'da çeşitli doğa sporları ile uğraşan 304 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada Loehr (1986) tarafından geliştirilen ve daha sonra Türkçe'ye uyarlanmış sporcunun zihinsel becerilerinin profilini ortaya çıkaran Psikolojik Performans Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş ve deneyim değişkenleri ile istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklara rastlanmıştır (p<0,05). Eğitim durumu ve yapılan doğa sporu türünde istatistiksel bir farka rastlanmamıştır. Psikolojik performansın, doğa sporcuları için önemli bir etken olduğu söylenebilir. Hedeflenen başarıya ulaşmada ve sporcu performansının daha üst seviyelere çekilebilmesi için sporculara psikolojik desteklerin verilmesi ve bu konuda çalışmalar yapılması önerilmektedir.

This conclusion should be viewed against contemporary concerns regarding decreasing participation rates in nature-based recreation, lack of physical activities, and indoorization of outdoor sports [12,35]. This study analyzes the latent demand to outdoor recreation participation and identifies what factors are constraining people from realizing this demand. In Sweden, recreation in the outdoors is seen as a public right as articulated in public policy and much of the outdoor recreation centre around forested landscapes-over 60 percent of the land area is classified as forest. Using data from a nationwide survey of 43 recreation activities, the study takes a time-contextual approach to reveal variations in recreation constraints across weekdays, weekends and holidays. Results show that almost half the population has a latent demand to increase their participation in outdoor recreation. Three categories of time contextual constraints are identified and several of the constraints studied show variations across outdoor activities and socio-economic factors. Practical implications for the promotion of outdoor recreation participation by public agencies, recreation managers and tourism businesses are discussed based on the study findings.

RESUMENBaena-Extremera, A., Ayala-Jiménez, J. D. y Baños, R. (2017). Deportes de aventura realizados por competidores de élite de raids. PENSAR EN MOVIMIENTO: Revista de Ciencias del Ejercicio y la Salud, 15(1), 1-17. Los equipamientos y materiales en las actividades físicas en el medio natural y en los deportes de aventura corresponden a instalaciones e instrumentos concretos para cada modalidad deportiva. La práctica de escalada, kayak, esquí o bicicleta todo terreno (BTT) será más adecuada y variará en función de las condiciones medioambientales que presente el entorno y de las características de este. Los objetivos del presente estudio fueron analizar los deportes incluidos en los raids y conocer el material, instalaciones y época de año de práctica. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 272 competidores de élite de la Liga Española de Raids de Aventura. El instrumento de medida utilizado fue un cuestionario autoadministrado validado previamente. Los resultados obtenidos fueron que un 80.1% de los participantes practicaba deportes de aventura en todas las estaciones del año por igual y un 69.8% utiliza material específico en la práctica deportiva. Este estudio concluye que los competidores en los raids de aventura practican diversos deportes de aventura en todas las épocas del año por igual y que el material específico es lo más común entre los competidores en el entorno natural.
