Teacher organizational commitment is a determining factor for achieving quality education. It is believed that teacher personality is one of the main factors which either increase or decrease organizational commitment. This research aims to examine the effects of teacher personality on their organizational commitment. The quantitative approach was employed with the survey method. The samples were selected using the simple random technique by applying the Slovin formula. The participants of this study were 83 civil servant teachers at public senior high schools located in East Jakarta. The data of this study were collected through a survey and then analyzed using Path analysis. The results of the analysis show that tcount is higher than ttable (4.329 > 2.64). This result means that H0 is rejected while H1 is accepted. The hypothesis testing shows that personality has a positive direct effect on teacher organizational commitment. Furthermore, it is proven that there are three traits influencing teacher personality, namely emotional stability (33.98%), extroversion (33.56%), and openness to experience (32.46%). Meanwhile, the main factors influencing organizational commitment are employee engagement (33.74%), moral responsibility (33.55%), and loyalty (32.71%). Based on the result of this study, it is suggested that school principals take teacher personality into account in order to improve teacher organizational commitment at schools.

Purpose This study aims to understand how traveling Instagrammers should be characterized by bridging socio-psychological concepts with Instagram usage and travel typologies. Design/methodology/approach Using analysis of variance, differences between non-Instagrammers and passive and active users were identified with regard to their personality traits and human values; traveling Instagrammers and their travel types were characterized in more detail using k-means clustering, and, finally, posting behavior was examined using multiple regression. Findings The results demonstrate significant differences between the user groups in terms of their personality traits, their human values and their travel behavior. The multiple regressions provide deeper insights into tourists’ Instagram posting. Research limitations/implications This study was conducted on 1,100 German travelers, meaning that the results are only valid for this cultural context. All data were collected using an online panel and participants received incentives, and thus extrinsic rewards, instead of using merely intrinsic motivation to take part in the survey. Originality/value This study contributes to a better understanding of Instagram usage behavior when traveling and adds valuable insights to this field of research. At the same time, the results are relevant for tourism businesses wishing to optimize their communication and marketing strategies.

Project implementation is the making of a functional product consisting of mock-ups, partial functional models, and prototype functional products. Therefore, the making of this functional product requires the creativity of the students to produce more innovative ideas in accordance with the product to be presented. Hence, in the production of this functional product each individual creativity has different potential. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the level of motivation, personality and environment that influence students' creativity in the production of functional products for the subject of Design and Technology (RBT). The study design was quantitative by using the questionnaire method. The research instrument consists of 4 sections and each section consists of several different items namely demographics (4 items), motivation (8 question items), personality (44 question items) and environment (8 question items). A total of 175 form 3 students of SMK Desa Kencana, Lahad Datu was selected as the study sample. Study data was analyzed using descriptive and correlation analysis to find out the relationship between creativity and personality traits. The findings of the study found that the independent variables of motivation level (M = 4.2843, SD = .58299) and environment (M = 4.3293, SD = .75517) can affect students' creativity. Meanwhile, for personality, the mean and deviation values are based on five personality traits, namely openness to experience (M = 3.6469, SD = .41864), conscientiousness (M = 3.6724, SD = .58604), extraversion (M = 3.4921, SD = .57566), agreeableness (M = 3.7073, SD = .42491), and neuroticism (M = 2.7700, SD = .6286). Besides, the results of the analysis of the correlation of creativity with personality significance traits found that there is a positive and negative relationship with levels of 0.01 and 0.05. Personality traits, openness to experience (r = .945, P = .000), conscientiousness (r = .372, P = .000), extraversion (r = .512, P = .000), agreeableness (r = .435, P = .000), had a positive relationship whereas neuroticism trait (r =-. 184, P = .0.15) had a negative relationship. In sum, an individual's creativity in the creation of a functional product can be influenced by their level of motivation, environment, and personality. With the help of the findings, it is hoped that subsequent researchers will be able to determine how much motivation, personality, and environment influence students' creative thinking.
