The importance of water in pig farming

Abstract: Water is an extremely important element of metabolism in the body of pigs during ontogenesis. It acts as a transport and solvent medium for nutrients and waste products; improves the digestive system; provides a normal balance of electrolytes and mobility of joints; regulates body temperature; serves as a conductor of biochemical reactions.
