This research is meant to find that qirā’ah is one of important factors to see Arabic achievement as well as istimā’, kalām and kitābah. Other factors are from the methods of teaching like: TPR (Total Physical Response), Silent way, and Community Language Learning and suggestopedia method. In this paper the writer limits the problem by focusing on teaching qirā’ah descriptive paragraph through suggestopedia method. The writer formulates the problem of this paper. The formulation is "How does the teacher teach descriptive paragraph through suggestopedia to senior high school students at State Islamic Senior High school (MAN) Model jambi”. This paper is significant because it will be very useful for senior high school students, Its hoped that when the teachers apply the suggestopedia method, the students can learn qirā’ah in more enjoyable and fun environment. This paper is also important for teachers. It is hoped that they will have wider and deeper understanding of teaching methods in general, particularly suggestopedia method in teaching qirā’ah.

This research is aimed at describing the use of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading Comprehension) method to teach reading and finding the strengths and weaknesses of CIRC to teach reading to young learners. This research is applied in qualitative research with a descriptive analysis model. The data collecting is done by observation, interview, and documentation. In analyzing data, it is done by data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The result of this research can be concluded as follows the Implementation of CIRC Method to teach reading are: (1) partner reading, (2) story grammar and related writing (3) word out loud, (4) word meaning, (5) story retell, and (6) spelling. The advantages of CIRC method in teaching reading are first, the students are easy to understand the material. Second, the students have the motivation to learn to read more. Third, the situation of the class is fun. Fourth, students pay more attention and are more focused on learning. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of CIRC method in teaching reading is sometimes the students are confused by the teacher’s explanation and instruction

The research objectives were 1) to study the effectiveness of the skill enhancement form according to the guideline of the Akita action lesson plan on reading comprehension ability and social media literacy; 2) to compare the learning achievement on reading comprehension and social media literacy with the guideline of the Akita action lesson plan before and after learning; 3) to study the satisfaction of students using the guideline of the Akita action lesson plan on reading comprehension and social media literacy; and 4) to study guidelines for solving problems on reading comprehension and social media literacy by implementing the guideline of the Akita action lesson plan. The sampling group consisted of 142 Grade 6 students in Loei Province and interviewed 4 teachers from 4 schools in Loei Province in the second semester of the academic year 2021. The instruments used in this study were the guideline of the lesson plan for developing reading comprehension abilities and social media literacy according to Akita action guidelines, the achievement test, the satisfaction questionnaire, and the semi-structured interview. Learning achievement was compared before and after the study using Paired Sample t-test statistics.
