The study focused on social entrepreneurial orientation and performance of third sector organizations. This study made use of the descriptive cross-sectional research design. The study’s interest is the third-sector organizations that are operational in the South East region of Nigeria. The study applied simple random sampling technique to select 400 participants. Descriptive statistics was used to determine the mean, standard deviation, and inter-item correlation. The analysis was carried out using Multiple Regression. The regression includes Hannan-Quinn criterion, F-statistic, and Durbin-Watson statistic. Satorra-Bentler Test was employed to spot issues of homoscedasticity. Findings showed that effectual orientation has significant positive effect on social performance and commercial performance of third-sector organizations. Finding further revealed that social mission orientation does not significantly relate with social performance of third-sector organizations, and that social mission orientation has no significant negative linear relationship between commercial performance. The study recommended among others that third-sector organizations should prioritize the adoption of effectual orientation as a core strategic approach, and should re-evaluate their operational strategies to ensure that the stated social missions are effectively translated into tangible, measurable actions that align with the needs and expectations of the communities served.

Social enterprises are organizations that have economic and social goals. However, the performance of the social enterprise is still not satisfactory. In this study, the researchers examined one of the social enterprises that is developing in Indonesia, namely Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). This study aim to evaluates the effect of institutional pressure and social entrepreneurial orientation on the social performance of the social enterprise. It looks at the impact of social performance on the social enterprise's financial performance. The population in this study is social enterprise BUMDes in Bengkalis Regency with a stratified random sampling technique. Respondents in this study were BUMDes managers. Data collection was carried out by sending questionnaires directly to BUMDes managers. A total of 103 respondents participated in this study. The data that has been analyzed using Warp PLS shows that institutional pressure and social entrepreneurial orientation have a positive effect on social performance, and have an effect on improving financial performance. This research has implications for supporting institutional theory and improving BUMdes performance

This study aims to deepen knowledge about the direct effects of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and market orientation (MO) on hospital performance using the structural equation modeling partial least squares (PLS-SEM) model. This research is a quantitative, non-experimental, and descriptive study using the PLS-SEM statistical technique. The PLS-SEM results show that the first hypothesis of market orientation does not have a direct effect on hospital performance with a t-statistic value of 1.29 <1.96 with a p-value of 0.018 <0.05. The second hypothesis, entrepreneurial orientation has a direct effect on hospital performance t-statistic 10, 85> 1.96 with a p-value <0.005 so that the second hypothesis is declared accepted. The results show sufficient evidence that EO positively affects hospital performance. Likewise, the impact of EO on hospital performance is positive either directly. Regarding managerial implications, the study provides managers with insight into the process of strategy formation and decision-making, emphasizing the importance of both encouraging the development of EO capabilities and focusing efforts on being proactive and innovative to improve hospital performance.
