The Importance of Scalar Fields as Extradimensional Metric Components in Kaluza-Klein Models

Abstract: Extradimensional models are achieving their highest popularity nowadays, among other reasons, because they can plausible explain some standard cosmology issues, such as the cosmological constant and hierarchy problems.
