Communicating in Balinese language needs some strategies. Not all Balinese people can speak Balinese in a polite way because the Balinese language is one of the languages having a level system. The problem is mostly faced by young speakers of the Balinese language. This research focuses on strategies for communicating politely in Balinese without having to use the upper level of the Balinese language. This is important to be considered that nowadays, due to the development of tourism, globalization, and rapid advances in information technology, the young generation of Balinese often finds big obstacles in using the Balinese language appropriately according to their situation and conditions. Data of this research were collected by observation and interview methods completed with their appropriate techniques. The collected data was first analysed by grouping method based on the forms of the utterances of the language levels. Then the grouping was conducted based on strategies applied to create polite utterances in Balinese communication. This research found that, first, speakers want the communication to run smoothly and harmoniously. Second, most of young speakers have problem and difficulty to use the upper-level in Balinese communication. Additionally, when speaking in Balinese, it can be considered polite to use indirect speech, the polite forms of imperative, appropriate deixis and to apply other strategies.

This study aims to describe and explain the types of implications in learning Indonesian students of Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Toroh, Grobogan Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data used in this study is in the form of teacher and student speech in Indonesian learning in which there are implications. The source of data in the study was obtained from speech events in Indonesian learning in grade VIII SMP N 2 Toroh. Techniques used in collecting data using observation, listening, recording, and interview techniques. The results showed that the types of implicatures found in the learning process, namely conventional and unconventional implicatures (conversation) and the results of research that has been done, researchers found some data about the type of implicature of a speech. The data to be analyzed in this study is in the form of speeches of teachers and grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Toroh which contain types of implications

The study explored apologizing strategies within the movie "Captain Marvel" through the analysis of illocutionary speech acts. The research adopted a qualitative approach and utilized the framework of apologizing strategies developed by Kramer-Moore and Moore. The primary data sources were the movie and its script, with instances of apologizing transcribed verbatim, along with nonverbal cues. The analysis revealed two main types of apologies: expressive and directive. Expressive apologies, demonstrated by characters like Maria, Carol, and Coulson, conveyed genuine remorse and empathy to maintain harmonious interactions. On the other hand, Talos utilized directive apologies, combining sincerity with a plea for understanding and forgiveness. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of communication dynamics within cinematic narratives and real-world interactions. Future research could explore cultural variations in apology strategies within different genres and the impact of cultural nuances on apology portrayal in films. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the portrayal of apologizing strategies in the movie "Captain Marvel" and how they contribute to the dynamics of communication and character development. The identification of expressive and directive apology types showcases the complexity of human interactions and emotions within the context of a popular cinematic narrative.
