Whatever be the nature of underlying software, the impact of the software development process that was used to create it would remain vital. The objective of this paper is to provide a process selection framework for the software development firm's engineers and managers, looking to identify the proper way to build software to run on a mobile, web, or desktop. The motivation behind this work comes from the fact that the applications that fall in one of the above three categories can be significantly different in terms of scale, UI, and memory requirements, time to market, and other characteristics. Software development that needs to be completed in a challenging timeframe has to resort to principles and values as declared in Agile Manifesto. The availability of various agile methodologies has made the project managers often stuck when selecting the most suitable one. The proposed agile process identification system addresses this dilemma of engineering fraternity using a fuzzy variant of a popular multiple‐criteria decision‐making (MCDM) technique called the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The proposed system is validated through a primary dataset generated as a result of the development of 20 software projects. The results are encouraging enough with a probability of true identification close to 88%.

The development of science and technology parks (STPs) has become a trendy tool for promoting the economy, innovation, and technology for more than 30 years worldwide. However, STPs poses challenges for urban planners seeking a vision of sustainable urban development. These places become an object of attraction for many highly skilled workers who create daily traffic flows. The proper accessibility and provision of transport infrastructure and services become the challenge for the development of such places because the availability of services influences the choice of travel mode and the possible employees’ travel behaviour. The authors of the research aim to assess the level of development of infrastructure and transport services conducive to the sustainable mobility of science and technology park staff in Vilnius city. Changing mobility behaviour into a more sustainable way is of interest to many scientists and practitioners, so the authors think that STP staff can represent a group of educated, working-age stakeholders within the city population, who has an interest in sustainable mobility travel options and can set an example of sustainable travel. Besides, recommendations for the planning and sustainable development from the sustainable urban mobility point of view of science and technology parks and similar institutions are provided. To achieve this goal, the authors use scientific empirical and theoretical research as well as multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods. The results show the link between the distance from the developed STP site to the city centre and the more sustainable mobility of workers. Therefore, it is suggested to develop STPs closer to the urban centre as it often does not require large-scale development, nor do they engage in the polluting industry. Moreover, the authors suggest the key criteria that should be considered for STP development.

Today, sustainability, sustainable development and clean environment come to the fore worldwide. Consequently, the concept of sustainability has been introduced in project management. Sustainability issues have gained particular attention in the real estate sector. However, despite the fact that this sector has a huge impact on the environment and society, real estate projects are most commonly chosen taking into account only their risk and return, and a very limited number of indices and methods are available to assess their sustainability. Moreover, all of the existing indices and models for assessing the sustainability of an investment project take into account only three dimensions of sustainability—environmental, social and economic. Therefore, the novelty of this work lies in constructing a real estate sustainability index (RESI) relying on an additional sustainability aspect—i.e., a technological dimension. The developed sustainability index could be useful in evaluating and comparing real estate projects. It would also promote technological progress and investments in new technologies within projects as sustainability is also considered in a new, technological dimension. A research study was carried out between September 2020 and December 2020. Following an analysis of the literature and different sustainability-related standards relevant for the real estate industry, sustainability criteria were chosen and then grouped into four (environmental, social, economic and technological) categories. The selection and ranking of the most relevant sustainability criteria were performed through a survey. The index was compiled by applying multi-criteria decision making methods.
