Abstract:Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB) is used to reduce rear-end collisions in critical traffic scenarios. The racing environment contributes critical cases. In Formula races, critical collisions occur during cornering. Drivers may not concentrate on the boundary regions at high speeds. For this reason, an AEB system may support the drivers in such cases.
