Abstract: Summary:Most patients with a history of sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) or ventricular fibrillation (W) are at high risk of recurrence. Implanted defibrillators (ICDs) are highly effective in sensing and converting VT or VF to a perfusing rhythm.
