The Impact On Engineering Graduate Students Of Teaching In K 12 Engineering Programs

Abstract

at Boulder MALINDA SCHAEFER ZARSKE is a K-12 engineering coordinator for the Integrated Teaching and Learning Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the curricula coordinator for the TEAMS Program, on the development team as well as a content editor for the TeachEngineering digital library, and has co-created and co-taught engineering elective courses for both high school and undergraduate students. A former middle and high school math and science teacher, she received her MAT in secondary science from the Johns Hopkins University and her MS in civil engineering from CU-Boulder.
