The Impact of The Development of Blended Learning Models Using Computer applications in Higher Education

Abstract: This study showed that the impact of development of blended learning models can improve student learning outcomes, the learning process that utilizes information technology in the form of computers which equipped with telecommunications facilities (Internet, intranet, and multimedia (graphics, audio, video) as a medium in the delivery of materials and interactions between teachers and learners. This method of research was R&D (Research and Development), which research was to produce products and test the effec… Show more

“…The use of a relatively new learning model for students causes more motivation in learning and increases the achievement of learning objectives (Driyani, 2018;Astika et al, 2019;Latifa et al, 2020) where in this research is students' critical thinking skill. Previous research results showed positive impact on students' learning outcome and improve students' understanding of learning materials (Tubagus et al, 2019). Similar results also found that development of e-learning system improve students' cognitive skills (Khlaisang & Likhitdamrongkiat, 2015) and has significant impact on students' learning outcome such as open-mindedness (Kintu & Zhu, 2016).…”

“…Not only does blended training provide a learning experience, but it also creates a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. This is consistent with research findings (Wai and Seng, 2014;Tubagus, et al, 2019). As a result, teacher competency development in the form of blended training is the most appropriate option during the Covid-19 pandemic season for increasing effectiveness, efficiency, and more attractiveness in connecting with individuals in varied learning contexts.…”

“…Teachers can communicate effectively both within and outside of the online classroom. This is consistent with the assertion of Tubagus et al (2019), which suggests that blended training enables trainees to improve communication skills both in and out of the classroom through online interactions with one another to discuss common difficulties and can optimize learning by enhancing learning independence. Through this training, teachers can learn how to collaborate successfully to complete training activities.…”

“…Blended training not only provided a learning experience, but also provided a quality and friendly learning environment as a whole. This was in line with research results conducted by(Wai and Seng, 2014;Tubagus et al, 2019). For this reason, blended training was the most appropriate choice in the Covid-19 pandemic season to increase the training effectiveness, efficiency and greater attractiveness in interacting with people in a diverse learning environment.…”

“…Teachers have the opportunity to communicate effectively both in online classrooms and outside online classrooms. This was in line withTubagus et al (2019) which stated that blended training of trainees has the opportunity to develop communication skills both in class and outside the classroom through online interactions with each other discussing common problems and could optimize learning in improving individual learning. Through this training teachers could work together to complete training assignments effectively.…”
