The Impact of the Corona Pandemic on the Project Management Process in Jordan

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the extent of the impact of the Corona pandemic on the project management process in Jordan, by selecting a sample of )12( construction project managers. A questionnaire was designed consisting of five axes related to the five phases of project management. Those stages included the initiation phase, planning, execution , monitoring, and finally Closing phase. In the results, the study indicated that the Corona pandemic had directly affected all phases of project preparation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study recommended the need to take advantage of the pandemic conditions to develop the project management system, in addition to developing remote work mechanisms in the areas that allow this.
