Abstract: Early life exposure lays the groundwork for the risk of developing cardiovascular–kidney–metabolic (CKM) syndrome in adulthood. Various environmental chemicals to which pregnant mothers are commonly exposed can disrupt fetal programming, leading to a wide range of CKM phenotypes.
