Abstract:Conclusion: In a cohort of well-selected patients who are maintained on systemic therapy, performing three or more courses of SRS controls intracranial disease while allowing patients to maintain a favorable functional status. Although patients may continue to require salvage SRS for distant intracranial relapse, focal re-treatments are associated with modest treatment-related toxicity and do not appear to negatively affect a patient's performance status.
