The Impact Of Social Factors On The Sustainable Development Of Rural Tourism

Abstract

Tourism is a major factor in economic growth and development, especially in rural tourism trends where it is a stimulus for sustainable development. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of economic, environmental, and social factors on the sustainable development of tourism in Kosovo. Also, structural (questionnaire) data were used because this method is more effective and helps us to collect reliable data to achieve the objectives of the study. The sample in this research is 85 individuals that we have discovered who have visited these tourist places during 2021. The collected data are processed using the program SPSS 23 (Statistical Package for Social Scientists). To confirm the hypotheses in this research we used the method of correlation and linear regression. Rural tourism has a positive impact on the development of the local economy, increasing the number of jobs, increasing the quality of businesses, developing local culture, increasing local knowledge and it helps raise awareness of residents.
