Purpose Evaluating emergency preparedness exercises is crucial for assessing enhanced knowledge, facilitating learning and implementing knowledge in organizations. The cognitive process of motivation for action is a precursor for action, coping behavior and individual learning. This study aims to focus on how guided evaluation of emergency preparedness exercises can enhance cognitive motivation and influence the mental readiness of exercise participants. Design/methodology/approach This is a conceptual paper with a model approach design. The main conceptual contribution is suggesting a model for guided evaluation in emergency preparedness exercises. We present a theoretical background for understanding the increase in motivation based on social cognitive learning theory. In particular, this study discusses how different evaluation steps contribute to enhanced motivation and learning for exercise participants. Findings Increased motivation and enhanced personal performance standards could be achieved through using processes that lead to self-efficacy in guided exercise evaluation. Specifically, sources of enhanced motivation, such as repeated coping experiences, self-regulation processes, mastery motivation and performance motivation, would proliferate the readiness of individual crisis managers and teams. Practical implications This article suggests an evaluation model for use in emergency preparedness exercises. This approach combines bottom-up and top-down processes for debriefing, reflection and feedback, both individually and in teams. This approach aims to enhance exercise participants’ motivation and utilize exercise evaluation for organizational learning. Originality/value The conceptual discussion leads to developing implications for evaluation practice, suggesting how to structure evaluation and why. This study is novel for its explanation of how to use evaluation in the learning process.

Every married couple definitely wants a harmonious, happy and sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah household. The quality of marriage that achieves harmony and happiness has an impact on the psychological well-being of children, the optimal development of children's potential and the achievement of a sakinah household. Conversely, when the family is not harmonious, it can lead to divorce, and the psychological condition of the child is shaken. This study aims to determine the model of premarital counselling given to prospective bridal couples. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach which was carried out on several KUA marriage assistant counsellors. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and FGD (focus group discussion). Stages of data analysis through; (1) The researcher begins by thoroughly describing his experience, (2) grouping the data into meaningful units, the researcher details and writes a textual description of his experience, (3) reflects on his thoughts and uses imaginative variations (imaginative variation), (4) construct all explanations about the meaning and essence of the subject's experience. The research results obtained: (1). Premarital Counseling (premarital counselling) is an obligation for prospective married couples, (2) the need for the implementation of Premarital Counseling to be carried out intensively to increase happiness, (3) premarital counselling as an alternative step to minimize Divorce rates and Preventive Marriage Problems.

The integration of information and industrial technologies, digitalization and differentiation of sciences are accompanied by an increase in various types of complexity. This limits the capabilities of computer modelling, data mining, and predictive analytics. The increasing cognitive complexity of information flows and their diversity creates problems of safety, reliability and stability of the functioning of a complex dynamic system in extreme conditions. Here we show the possibility of cognitive visualization of signals of different nature through their geometrization in the form of a topological 3D model of functioning. Its projections are spatio-temporal signatures, the configurations of which reflect the dynamic, energetic and structural features of the model. An increase in the number of components of the signature configuration and its area under external influence indicates an increase in structural and functional complexity. Therefore, the signal structure can be analyzed in real time using complementary probabilistic and deterministic methods. A set of tools for the synthesis and analysis of 3D models has innovative potential for monitoring the functioning of elements of complex dynamic systems, risk management and predictive analytics.
