The impact of IFRS on earnings management: evidence from Mexico

Abstract: PurposePrior literature investigating the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) finds that managerial incentives, capital market institutions and accounting standards interact to endogenously determine accounting outcomes.
