This research aimed to study the causal factors affecting the business performance of private hospitals in Thailand from a management perspective. The sample consisted of 411 executives from private hospitals in Thailand, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via questionnaire, with SEM being used for analysis. The results indicated that the development of an enterprise resource system, including the competency and capability of entrepreneurs, positively influenced the focus on competitive differentiation. In turn, this focus had a positive effect on customer relationship management. Customer relationship management positively impacted brand loyalty, which subsequently enhanced business performance. In contrast, the competency and capability of entrepreneurs did not have an effect on business performance. The findings suggest that the growth and sustainability of business performance in private hospitals depends on various supportive factors. These range from policy formulation and the development of technological systems in services to strategies for building customer relationships, all contributing to competitive advantages, service loyalty, and success in achieving set goals.

For conducting advanced analytics initiatives to acquire in-depth data into usage habits, regional access, sales, and promotional success, etc., unique identification of packaged pharmaceuticals will be a fantastic enabler. The main objective of this study is to prevent and reduce the production of erroneous and counterfeit drugs using the enterprise system, which has become a serious threat because it damages the reputation of legitimate drug manufacturers by trying to produce and market placebo medications that are identical to the real thing. Due to federal government procedures and priorities that frequently change over time, the majority of implementation takes time. To achieve compliance with numerous federal regulatory authorities, including drug traceability for patient safety, the pharmaceutical industry must implement a systematic procedure in an ERP environment. The goals would be to guarantee medical drug traceability and provide real-time warnings to supply chain stakeholders and regulatory bodies to maximize the benefit of integrating a drug traceability system into an ERP environment. Additionally, manufacturers are compelled to maintain product costs on the higher side due to a heavy burden of unchecked manufacturing cost spikes. As a result, innovative marketing schemes must be introduced in order to increase the reach to consumers by putting into practice successful strategies.

In the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, efficient and accurate production processes ensure quality products and meet customer demands. However, many companies still rely on manual systems, such as Microsoft Excel, which can lead to challenges and inefficiencies. The problems identified include a lack of integration between product data and manufacturing documents, error-prone manual data entry, document mix-ups, and time-consuming processes. The study aimed to design and implement a web-based material requirement planning system to address the challenges of a manual manufacturing system in a pharmaceutical company. The objectives were to improve integration, streamline production processes, and reduce lead time for enhanced operational efficiency. The study employed a prototyping approach to design and develop a web-based material requirement planning system. User feedback and requirements guided iterative design cycles, while User Acceptance Testing evaluated system performance and usability. The impact on operational efficiency was assessed by measuring lead time before and after implementation. The implemented web-based material requirement planning system successfully resolved integration issues, reduced manual data entry errors, and minimized document mix-ups within the pharmaceutical manufacturing company. User Acceptance Testing achieved a 100% average percentage. The lead time was improved from 207-251 minutes to 122-159 minutes, demonstrating enhanced operational efficiency.
