The Impact of Different Mapping Function Models and Meteorological Parameter Calculation Methods on the Calculation Results of Single-Frequency Precise Point Positioning with Increased Tropospheric Gradient

Abstract: Tropospheric delay is one of the main errors in precise point positioning (PPP). The inaccuracy of the tropospheric delay model will inevitably lead to a decrease in PPP accuracy. Therefore, the influence of the tropospheric gradient on the positioning accuracy should be considered in the processing of tropospheric delay. At the same time, the effects of different mapping function models and meteorological parameter calculation methods on the tropospheric delay accuracy of single-frequency PPP (SF PPP) are ana… Show more

“…Therefore, a correct understanding and calculation of tropospheric parameters (e.g. temperature, wind speed, etc) are essential for the accurate prediction of typhoons (Guan et al 2019, Liu et al 2020. After a tropical cyclone (TC), cyclonic eddies from TCs typically trigger a chlorophyll bloom in various sea areas such as the East China Sea (Lü et al 2020), South China Sea (Zhao et al 2009), Bay of Bengal (Xia et al 2022) and Arabian Sea (Lu et al 2020).…”

“…Xiamen University has successively developed acoustic monitoring systems based on the vertical detection method and single-beam transducer motor-rotating horizontal scanning method. The circular multi-beam scanning detection method had high requirements for the estimation of fish swimming speed, and either the underestimation or overestimation will lead to partial fish missed detection or repeated detection [9][10][11]. Yihan Feng et al [12] introduced an automated method for estimating fish abundance in sonar images based on the modified MCNN (multi-column convolutional neural network), named FS-MCNN.…”

“…Subsequently, the GNSSs of Russia, Europe, and China emerged and have become essential for users worldwide. Researchers have highlighted the importance of combining multiple systems and multiple frequencies (Liu et al 2017a, Liu et al 2020, Sun et al 2021. Additionally, PPP has been explored using different function models, such as the ionosphere-free (IF) and uncombined (UC) models (Zhang et al 2011).…”
