This research examines the revival of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. This pandemic presents major challenges and is a catalyst for unprecedented change in the SME sector. This article aims to identify and analyze the main factors that play a role in the resilience and growth of Indonesian SMEs during and after the pandemic. Utilizing quantitative data and qualitative interviews, this research reveals that digital transformation and government stimulus play an important role. The research results show that SMEs that use digital marketing show good adaptability and growth, and benefit from the shift in consumer behavior to online platforms. The Indonesian government's fiscal support, by assisting struggling SMEs, enables business continuity and recovery from the impact of the pandemic. The study concludes with policy recommendations to maintain the growth and resilience of SMEs, emphasizing the importance of digital inclusion, easy access to financial institutions, and community support networks. The impact of this research is significant for policymakers, business leaders, and community developers aiming to protect the SME sector from future crisis

The abundance of crops, especially cassava in the Blooto sub-district, has made many people sell processed food products made from cassava. However, due to a lack of information about marketing strategies, SMEs products from the Blooto sub-district can only be sold in the local market. Even then, they must compete with products from outside which are the result of large-scale industrial factories with well-known brands. This community service report tries to provide the best solution on modern digital marketing promotion strategies by utilizing social media to help SMEs market their products so they can penetrate regional, national and even foreign markets. Of course this is also balanced with attractive product innovations as well as support from the government as regulatory policy makers.

This research illustrates the importance of micro-businesses in Malaysia and the country's economy. This is followed by the issues they face during COVID-19, including supply chain disruptions, profit loss and challenges in gaining financial aid, adjusting to online business, and retaining workers’ motivation. To address these obstacles, the use of lean practices and TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) methodologies was suggested. Furthermore, past research on the issues that micro businesses face during COVID-19 and lean practices and TRIZ’s potential to solve these issues are reviewed. Data collection will be conducted through semi-structured interviews, focus groups, observation, and document analysis, followed by data analysis through the thematic analysis method. Based on the qualitative analysis results, a model was suggested to demonstrate the association between the key themes emerging from the data. As the study unfolds, it is expected to unveil how lean practices synergize with TRIZ methodologies, enabling a dynamic and holistic response to the multifaceted challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. By strategically aligning these two potent strategies, the model is poised to illuminate pathways toward enhanced operational efficacy, resilience in the face of supply chain disruptions, creative adaptation to the digital realm, and the nurturing of workforce motivation and engagement. As a conclusion, the integration of lean practices and TRIZ helps Malaysia’s micro businesses enhance their operations and adjust to the issues in the current economic environment after COVID-19
