The impact of accreditation on medical schools’ processes

Abstract: This study uses an innovative marker, medical schools' processes, to evaluate the impact of accreditation. Results provide evidence that accreditation-related activities steer medical education programmes towards establishment of processes likely to be associated with improved quality in medical education.
