The Image Of Youth In The Contemporary Theater

Abstract: IN THE THEATRE OF THE LAST SEVEN YEARS the juvenile lead has indeed come into his own, and with much more to do than merely look handsome and follow the course of true love with varying degrees of smoothness. The younger dramatists' chief concern is young people and, in particular, their predicament in the world today.
