The idiosyncratic brain: distortion of spontaneous connectivity patterns in autism spectrum disorder

Abstract: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has been associated with a reduction in resting state functional connectivity, though this assertion has recently been challenged by reports of increased connectivity in ASD.
