The INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC)

Abstract: Abstract. The INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC) provides the INTEGRAL data and means to analyse them to the scientific community. The ISDC runs a gamma ray burst alert system that provides the position of gamma ray bursts on the sky within seconds to the community. It operates a quick-look analysis of the data within few hours that detects new and unexpected sources as well as it monitors the instruments. The ISDC processes the data through a standard analysis the results of which are provided to the observe… Show more

“…27) as input source catalog. We processed the ISGRI and JEM-X data using the latest available Off-line Scientific Analysis software (OSA; see Courvoisier et al 2003), v. 7.0. The description of the algorithms used in the ISGRI and JEM-X scientific analyses can be found in Goldwurm et al (2003) and Westergaard et al (2003), respectively.…”

“…We achieved a serendipitous detection of PKS 2149-306 using the INTEGRAL public archive data; the source was in the IBIS (Ubertini et al 2003) (Courvoisier et al 2003). The imaging analysis of IBIS/ISGRI data (Goldwurm et al 2003) provided a source detection of signal-to-noise ratio S /N = 4 in the 20−100 keV energy band with exposure of 366 ks.…”

“…Among the 14 Seyfert 1 galaxies of our sample, several objects have in fact intermediate Seyfert types. NGC 1386, NGC 2992, NGC 5033 are Seyfert 1.9 but their X-ray spectra do not show significant absorption (Dadina 2008;Terashima et al 1999). NGC 3227 and NGC 4151 are Seyfert 1.5 with complex and variable absorption (Gondoin et al 2003;Zdziarski et al 2002).…”

“…The ISGRI data were reduced using the INTEGRAL Offline Scientific Analysis software 2 version 7.0 publicly released by the INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (Courvoisier et al 2003). Individual sky images for each pointing have been produced in a broad energy band of 18-80 keV.…”
